3-Dimensional Intra-oral Scanning

The 3-Dimensional Intraoral Scanning Certificate of Competency (CoC) Course equips Oral Health Therapists with the essential skills to perform digital intraoral scans, enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of patient treatment planning. This course provides hands-on training in scanning techniques, data acquisition, and integration into digital workflows, allowing for improved diagnostic precision and streamlined collaboration with dentists.

 

In accordance with the Singapore Dental Council's regulations, Oral Health Therapists are required to obtain this certification before performing intraoral scans in clinical practice. By completing this course, participants will gain the necessary competency to leverage advanced scanning technology for better patient outcomes and more efficient treatment workflows.

Note: As of 01 September 2025, all CoCs for OHTs practising in Singapore will be organised by the Oral Health Therapy programme in Nanyang Polytechnic.
