Highlights from IOHC 2025 Pre-Congress Workshop!

On 27 June 2025, we held our IOHC 2025 Pre-Congress Workshop on dental photography conducted by Dr. Matthew Wong.

The session focused on the essentials of both DSLR and mobile photography from camera setup and simplified settings to capturing the 9 must-have clinical shots. Participants also learned practical tips on patient positioning, shade taking and digital record keeping.

It was a valuable hands-on session equipping attendees with beginner-friendly techniques to improve their clinical documentation with confidence!

On March 1st, AOHT hosted a comprehensive course on 3D IOS for graduating students from NYP and refresher course for our practicing OHTs.

On 25 August 2023, we’ve held our Pre-Congress Workshop with the help of 3M Technologies. The workshop was conducted by Dr Bruce Lee, a well-established and highly regarded dental surgeon.

Dr Bruce Lee shared with the participants on the science and art of restorative dentistry. He also shared on the various techniques to achieve beautiful and natural-looking restorations.

Our participants had a great time during the workshop and they were certainly proud of the outcome of their work!

On 18 April we had an evening lecture and hands on session in collaboration with Curaden Academy!

The event was held at NUCOHS and we were grateful to have Mr Andrew Terry as a speaker for the event! He shared about Evidence-Based Biofilm Management
and covered a wide variety of oral hygiene products and tips🪥

Our OHTs enjoyed the light-hearted and informative session!

Congrats to our two winners from the lucky draw! They each won a Curaprox Hydrosonic Pro toothbrush! So cool🥺🤩

On the 2nd of April, AOHT organised another full + refresher course for the 3D IOS! It was nice to see new faces as well as familiar ones!

We are also happy to have Dr Cheah joining us for our lunch and learn session. We hope that our OHTs learnt a lot from the workshop and is ready to get scanning!

Today’s event served as a refresher course for OHTs experienced in 3D IOS and at the same time, it provided an opportunity for OHTs new to 3D IOS to learn the skills needed to conduct digital scans for patients.

We are extremely grateful for the participation and positive response to this course. Once again, AOHT encourages all OHTs to get certified in 3D Intra-Oral Scanning. See you in the next CoC course!👋🏻
